Celebrating the Decade: 10 Positiva Hits from 10-years: Audio Playlist
As the new decade begins, we took a moment to reflect on the past 10-years at Positiva Records and put together a cracking playlist featuring ten of the best from the decade.
We kicked of the noughties by stopping a former Spice Girl to the coveted number-1 spot in the now infamous Spiller/Sophie Ellis-Bexter vs. Victoria Beckham chart battle. John Peel (RIP) showed his support for a little known Belgium dance act called Lasgo who then went on to have some of the biggest chart hits in the early 2000’s.
We put drum n’ bass on the mainstream map by propelling Shy FX & T-Power’s ‘Shake UR Body’ into the UK Top-10. And, for the third time in its life-span, we made The Source’s seminal club-track, ‘You Got The Love’ a Top-5 record once again – Florence & The Machine are currently doing a great job reintroducing the song to yet another generation this year with their fantastic cover version.
We also celebrated our tenth and fifteenth anniversaries in magnificent style and continued to define a generation by building a roster just brimming with now classic dance anthems!
So without further delay, check out our ‘Celebrating the Decade: 10 hit records from 10-years’ playlist, highlighting (in chronological order) ten of Positiva’s biggest hits from the the noughties.
Happy New Year, enjoy!
